Our Mission

  • Encourage young men to make a difference in their community.

  • Develop leadership skills while working with others

  • Cultivate a lifelong spirit of volunteerism and dedication to helping others in need with the support of their parents and mentors.

Who We Are

Amigos Unidos was founded in 2011 with an inaugural group of 19 high school boys and their mothers.  We are a son/mother service organization providing hands-on support to philanthropies in the Southern California, South Bay communities and the greater Los Angeles area.  There are 2 Amigos Groups per year.  Each group functions through their freshman to senior years of high school and is identified by their graduation year and color.  The colors allow the separate Amigos Unidos groups to be differentiated and are represented by the color of the shirts the young men wear when volunteering and at meetings.
